Chocolate & Coffee

Chocolate and Coffee.

Whilst throwing around some new and exciting coffee and chocolate ideas with the very handsome Robert  Laverge  from Flair Mobile, today I experienced my first Mocha Coffee from Kaldis in Fourways.  You would have thought that I would have made one of these before, but no.  It was a lot sweeter than expected, but delicious none the less.

Mother's Day

One relationship which is always with us is the one we share with our mothers. They are our guiding force and are at least half way responsible for making us who we are.   Mothers also shape our lives and our personalities and crediting them for this is something we should do at every opportunity.   I have never really thought about the origin of Mother’s day until now.  So for a little trivia, here goes.

Age by Chocolate

Give this a try…it only will work in 2012.

Don’t tell me your age, you’ll most probable lie anyway – But the Chocolate Tier will know!

This is pretty clever.
DON’T cheat by scrolling down first!
It takes less than a minute.
Work this out as you read.
Be sure you don’t read the bottom until you’ve worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it’s fun!

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5.

4. Multiply it by 50... we will wait while you get the calculator.

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1762...If you haven’t, add 1761...

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number.

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e. how many times you want to have chocolate each week)

The next two numbers are...

YOUR AGE!!! (Oh YES, it is…)
This is the ONLY year (2012) it will ever work, so spread it around while it lasts….

Chocolate Day

Chocolate day is the perfect opportunity to eat, drink and devour chocolate in ample portions. My research has not uncovered a specific date when this day began or who created it... I can only guess it was a woman.

Chocolate is a favourite flavour around the world from breakfast cereals, confectionary, ice creams, desserts all the way through to savoury dishes.

Unequalled in popularity, it deserves a day in honour.

In fact it comes from the seed of a cacao pod, a vegetable... so eat up everyone. Happy Chocolate Day.
